Exact same words as the title of this post was the first option I wrote in my past Christmas wishlist and whoala got it as a gift from an officemate (Thanks @eydiFTW). After his band’s breakup last year, it has been a no show for bamboo and his music. The band was really a hit and their music has been a part of us for a couple of years and so. The news of their disband even tasted bittersweet after following the breakup of also one of OPM’s finest, Sugarfree. But I think, everything really comes to an end. Bands do come and go. The news of his new album last December made me more interested of what will Bamboo’s music evolve from a band to a me, myself and I setting. After receiving it as a gift, it has been the soundtrack every time I drive chewing every line of his songs and it come to a realization that Bamboo is still Bamboo. His deep words and his unique lyrics engineering had still been there and surely don’t forget his instrumental monolyrics that changes pitch and emotion. His debut single “Questions” had been my early favorite. “Just Go” and his bonus track “Ikot ng Mundo” is a must-hear track of his album. Cheers to @bamboomusiclive for the good music.
